Submitting evidence and supporting documents

After you’ve submitted a mortgage application, help us to process your case as quickly as possible:

  • Package all documents together and upload to us straightaway via Introducer Internet and/or the Mortgage Application Tracking System (MATS) to avoid any delays.
  • When we receive your application we'll send you a MATS message. You don't need to wait for this message before uploading the supporting case information.
  • We reject cases where the documents are not sent to us within ten working days of application submission. Rejected cases may require a new product selection.

Document certification

  • If the case is face-to-face and you receive original photo ID such as a passport, driving licence (including where this is being used as proof of address) or residence permit, it must show the following certification:
    • “I certify this is a true copy of the original and a true likeness of the applicant” (please also include signature, date and broker company name).
  • If the case is face-to-face and you receive original documents showing an address such as bank statements, utility bills or council tax bill, it must show the following certification:
    • “I certify this is a true copy of the original” (please also include signature, date and broker company name).
  • If the case is not face-to-face and you receive any original document for either proof of ID or proof of address, it must show the following certification:
    • “I certify this is a true copy of the original, it verifies the information supplied by the customer and a satisfactory anti-fraud impersonation check has been carried out” (please also include signature, date and broker company name).
