Alternatively if your client is currently on Santander's Standard Variable Rate (sort code 0915 xx) and only has one loan part for their mortgage, e.g. they don't have any additional loans or more than one type of repayment method, then your client can use our online transfer service in the 'Existing mortgage customers changing deals' page on www.santander.co.uk.

If we have mailed an exclusive product offer to a customer, this is likely to be only available for a limited period and will be explained in our letter. We always suggest the customer should speak to their financial adviser if they have one.
Expand10% overpayment facility
Abbey mortgage customers can overpay their mortgage by 10% per calendar year eg 10% overpayment in 2011, then 10% overpayment in 2012 etc, minimum £500 without incurring an ERC. This can be one or more payments throughout the year as long as the total does not exceed 10%.

We do not pay procuration fees for existing Abbey mortgage customers changing products with us.
