David Morris

David Morris, Head of Consumer Lending, Santander

I joined Santander as Head of Homes in October 2024 and run the end-to-end mortgage business, covering everything from product design through to IT. My role brings variety, dynamic challenges and the need to keep innovating, changing and building. I have near 2 decades’ experience in banking, including nearly 10 years running large mortgage portfolios, alongside other businesses. When I can find the time outside of work, I enjoy taking part in endurance events and looking after my 2 dogs.

Graham Sellar

Graham Sellar, Head of Santander for Intermediaries

I oversee the development and delivery of our mortgage propositions for Santander for Intermediaries. I began my career as a Financial Adviser before joining Santander in 1996 as a Business Development Manager. I have worked with mortgage intermediaries for over 25 years in various roles including leading our Key account team since 2020. Working with intermediaries has many great opportunities and challenges and I continue to enjoy this aspect and never tire of the challenges our industry presents. 

Helen Harrison

Helen Harrison, Head of Intermediary Distribution

I’ve got over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services. Since 2019, I’ve led our highly engaged Intermediary Team and I’m most passionate about the work we do together to deliver best-in-class service to our intermediary partners. The success of brokers in their clients’ home ownership journey is a key priority for me and my team. In addition to my responsibilities as Head of Intermediary Distribution, I’m also involved in DIFF and IMLA working groups, plus I’m part of our internal Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team.

John Gibbons

John Gibbons, Senior Business Manager

Since joining in 1997, I have undertaken a wide variety of roles for Abbey National and Santander. Within Santander for Intermediaries, I’m responsible for sales development and support and sales planning, as well as managing the hospitality and external event programme. I also represent Santander’s shareholding as a non-executive director of Mortgage Brain.

Paul McCarthy

Paul McCarthy, National Key Account Manager

I joined Santander in 1996 and started working with our National Key Accounts in 2006. Since 2014 I have also developed our New Build proposition managing our specialist team that liaises with the new housing sector. I enjoy attending my accounts’ broker facing events and presenting on the mortgage market. Outside of work I’m a runner and football fan who loves medieval history.  

Jeffrey Krampah-Williams

Jeffrey Krampah-Williams, National Key Account Manager

In my current role, I’m responsible for managing our key business relations. Alongside this, I oversee our Large Loan proposition and lead our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champions’ group. I’m passionate about developing and mentoring others which ties in nicely with my responsibilities as the ActionCoach lead in the team. I’ve worked for Santander since 2018 and what I enjoy most is speaking with key partners and finding ways to help more customers. I’m proud to have been awarded TMA Relationship Manager of the Year in 2024. Outside of work, I enjoy watching the football and support Manchester United.

Julie Waterman

Julie Waterman, National Key Account Manager

I’ve worked with intermediaries at Santander since 1992. In my current role, I manage 5 key account partners, whilst also working closely with our Underwriting Team to continue improving our service proposition. I enjoy helping brokers secure mortgages for their clients. I’m committed to listening to broker feedback, making changes to enhance their experience and proactively addressing challenges to streamline processes for our team. Alongside this, I lead our Product Transfer Champions’ group who are dedicated to identify and implement improvements to our product transfer process for brokers. 

Aimie-Jo Shutt

Aimie-Jo Shutt, National Key Account Manager

I’ve been with Santander since 2022. I started my career as a broker which I wholeheartedly loved for 12 years, before joining HSBC as a BDM where I went on to win several awards. I genuinely love my current role. It challenges me and working with such a diverse and knowledgeable team motivates me daily. As well as looking after many of our key account relationships, I take an active part in steering our Green and Technological endeavours along with taking a lead in ensuring the wellbeing and mental health of all our colleagues is looked after.

Jason House

Jason House, Regional Manager - South

Since joining Santander in 2010, I’ve had numerous roles. In my current role, I manage a team of BDMs across the South region. This gives me the opportunity to meet with customers and brokers across the whole region with diverse backgrounds and businesses. I take an active role in our team’s wellbeing. Working closely with Aimie-Jo, I’ve been a Wellbeing Champion since 2019. Outside of work, health and fitness are really important to me. I’ve taken part in triathlons and I’m an avid Lewis Hamilton/Formula 1 fan.  

Jason Lucas

Jason Lucas, Regional Manager - North

In 2019, I was appointed as Regional Manager where I manage a team of BDMs across the North region. Developing a strong team that works closely with our intermediary partners is my primary focus. Having worked in Santander for over 30 years, I’ve seen many changes in the market. I enjoy tackling these changes and guiding my team to help them adapt to make sure we’re providing first-class service to our brokers and customers. I enjoy travelling. I drive across mainland Europe a few times a year seeking new experiences with my family.

Jason Porter

Jason Porter, Regional Manager - East

As a Regional Manager, I’m responsible for a team of BDMs in the East region. I’ve been in the role for over 15 years and working in partnership with our brokers and the BDM team is what I enjoy most. My region specialises in supporting brokers and their clients with large loan mortgages. With such a dynamic market, speed and service are key for me and my role as a Regional Manager is to support my team to help our brokers get their client’s offer as quickly and easily as possible. Before working in financial services, I played ice hockey professionally.

Karen Buchan

Karen Buchan, Telephony Business Manager - Glasgow

I manage a team of 60 spread across 4 Team Managers in our Glasgow and Manchester offices. Our priority is to deliver a best-in-class telephony experience for our brokers. At Santander, working together with our customers and brokers is at the heart of what we do. Like most jobs, every day is different, and I really enjoy the variety and challenge this presents. I take an active role in supporting women in business and promoting people and culture within the bank. I have over 24 years’ experience in Financial Services and have been with Santander for Intermediaries since 2014. Outside of work, I have a young family so balancing that with work and a healthy lifestyle keeps me busy.

Claire Dean

Claire Dean, Telephony Business Manager - Manchester

I’ve been part of the Santander for Intermediaries team since 2009 and I’ve worked across a number of different roles. My current role offers lots of variety. I love working with others and looking for ways to improve our internal processes to make our colleagues, brokers and customers’ lives easier. I’m responsible for managing a team of 32 across the Manchester and Glasgow offices who support our brokers over the telephone. Outside of work, I’m on the governing body of a local primary school which allows me use a lot of the skills I’ve built up in my work life to help support the success of the school. I love travelling with my family and try to visit a new country every year if I can.
